- Form and Surface Explore nesting sets, textures, surface decorations and more.
​
​
Each session has a different theme and focus. Students will create a collection of functional and sculptural pieces by exploring a variety of hand building, texturing and surface design techniques. In this course we will create open and closed forms and vessels by using slab, coil and pinch construction. Projects include but are not limited to, the handled vessel- organic pod forms- vases and flower bricks. The wheel will be used for some projects as well, as an option.
