*Seconds* piece- This beautiful piece developed a crack at the base of the handle during firing. Most likely it was a hairline crack during drying and expanded in the kiln. This is a visual flaw and does not affect the functionality or personality of the teapot! It's hard to call this a seconds piece but alas... things can happen in the ceramic process.
